Most projects sort themselves into one of three buckets once you know what the frame underneath is doing.
The frame is gone
Shallow footings, rot at the ledger or posts set in concrete point to a rebuild. Patching a deck that has already moved with frost spends the money twice.
The frame is fine, the surface is tired
Sound footings and joists with grey, splintering boards is the resurfacing case, and it lands at a fraction of a rebuild.
Everything is sound, it just looks old
A structurally solid deck with a failed finish needs stripping, sanding and recoating, not carpentry.

Questions about our services
Do you take on small jobs, or only full builds?
Both. Board replacement, a loose guard, one sagging stair run and stain work are all normal scopes for us. The site visit tells us whether a small repair genuinely solves it or whether it is treating a symptom of a framing problem.
Can you work on a deck someone else built?
Yes, and most of our repair work is exactly that. We assess what is there on its own merits. If the original build has problems that make a repair a poor investment, we say so in writing rather than quoting work that will not hold.
Do you supply the materials, or do I?
We supply and the material is itemised in the written quote. If you have already bought decking you want used, tell us at the site visit, because board width and thickness change the joist spacing the frame needs.
Which service do I need if my deck feels bouncy?
Start with a deck inspection. Bounce usually traces to joist span, joist spacing or a beam that has lost bearing, and all three are structural rather than surface issues. The inspection tells you whether it is a repair, a reframe or a rebuild before you spend anything else.
